Second-Half Drought Dooms USC

GamecockCentral.com ATHENS, Ga. -- South Carolina learned a brutal lesson. It cannot, especially on the road, go through lengthy scoreless droughts and expect to win. The first one during Saturday's 66-61 loss to Georgia turned out OK. The second one cost the Gamecocks a victory and removed one more leg supporting their fading hopes for the NCAA tournament.
