Have seen all top Delaware teams play this season. None come anywhere near Sallies talent and coaching.

how was the benson-verratti matchup

Cape offense was very limited by Sals time of possession. If Benson is #7 and Verratti #43 (there was no printed program or announcer at the game) I'd have to say it was pretty much a draw. Sals slid well to all dodges from X as expected given Benson's reputation. I think Verratti stripped Benson at least once and I think Benson beat Verratti for a goal from X. Benson was able to get off a couple of good feeds from X dodges that were not handled. Both players are very good, and I would say the Sals plan for defending Benson succeeded since this morning's paper says he was limited to 2 goals.
