This one went 9 innings, one Hell of a baseball game. This one could have went either way, both pitchers went the distance for both teams. Hodgson had a freshmen on the mound. Archmere is a very solid ball club and record does not reflect there talent at all. Congrats to them, and another top 5 team takes a loss.

That is a tough schedule ! i was extremly impressed with archmere, i dont know what they have behind that starting pitcher, but that kid threw very well, and this was a solid ball club. Hodgson has to rebound today at frawley vs Appo

I was actually impressed with this Archmere team, there not as bad as there record.

That Archmere team has had an interesting season. Won their first game, then lost 9 straight, now on a 6 game winning streak with Wilm Christian and Tower Hill left. They are quietly garning bonus points quicker than any team. They currently have earned 16 bonus points, the 2nd most of any team after Caravel for a total of 37 points. In total points i have them roughly around #19 in total points earned to date. A couple of wins and a handful of bonus pts still to be had could be very close.

I also give them credit for having by far the toughest schedule in the Diamond State Conference. They played Charter, Concord, St Marks, Poly, CR, ST E, Hodgson, Tower Hill, Tatnall, plus 2 against Conrad and DMA. Thats one of the more competitive schedules in the state.
