Trevor Lacey Set to Invade Memphis

The city of Memphis has seen (and will see) some of the best high school talent in the country during the 2010-'11 season.

Of course, the talent in Memphis/Shelby County takes a backseat to no other region in America. We get to see the likes of Adonis Thomas (2011), Cedrick McAfee (2011), Jarnell Stokes (2012), Austin Nichols (2013), Johnathan Williams, III (2013), and Leron Black (2014), among myriad others.

Memphis fans have also, however, had the pleasure of seeing prep juggernaut Findlay Prep in town during a December classic held on the campus of Lausanne Collegiate Sschool. The Pilots have four high-major commits: Amir Garrett (2011, St. John's), Nick Johnson (2011, Arizona), Myck Kabongo (2011, Texas) and 2013 sensation Nigel Williams-Goss (already verballed to UNLV). Additionally, two of their other underclass stars--Anthony Bennett (who says "everyone's calling me") and Winston Shepard (a Memphis target), both in the Class of 2012--will end up at high D-1 schools, as well.
