Breakdown
Line: I have to give the Gold a slight advantantage on the defensive side of the ball. Hunt, Wright, Petrucelli, Heverin and Okeke are going to be tough to run on. The Blue's defensive line will also be tough to push around. Lemon, Kuderka, Evans, Ford and Baird will give to Gold O-Line a tough time as well.
Linebackers: I will give a slight advantage to the Blue with Burnett and Laws although Shauket and Pursell will be almost as tough.
Backs: On the offensive side of the ball the Gold is running 3 backs (Kisner, Snapp and Price) while the Blue is using 2 (Davis and Burton). Advantage Gold 3-2. On the defensive side of the ball the teams appear to be pretty even with the Blue featuring Schlezes, Davalos, Wilkins and Burris. The Gold will start Maull, Mears, Stewart and Allison.
Recievers: The Blue has a slight advantage here as they will use 3 recievers (Stearrett, Williams and Carre), where the Gold will use just 2 (Pugh and Falkenstein).
QB: The top quarterback in this game plays for the Gold (Mike Potts) and he will play the majority of the game but Jamil Young is also quite capable. The Blue has more players who can play quarterback in Henry, Burris, Borges and Davalos and equal the Gold tandem. This position is even.
Outcome: I see this as a defensive battle and big plays making the difference. I think that Davis or Carre will make a big play that wins the game for the Blue 21, Gold 16.
