So the debate was started about this being the best St. Mark's team ever, well the next question would be are they the best in the state this year? or can Smyrna, William Penn, CR, or even Sussex Central have a say, when it's all said and done.

St. Mark's has started off strong, (currently 9-0), wrestling all out of state opponents so far.
Smyrna has also started strong (currently 5-0), with the closest match being Division II Hodgson 46-30. The two will face off thursday night at St. Mark's and should prove to be a good match.
Other teams to watch from division I are William Penn, (7-1), losing only to Smyrna, and still having Hodgson and AI left on their schedule. AI DuPont has jump started to a 5-0 record thus far, and they still have Wm Penn and Caravel left to deal with.
Sussex Central is 4-0, with IR, CR, and Smyrna left, and Caesar Rodney (5-1), losing only to Easton PA, still has to face Polytech, Central and Smyrna.
Division II should come down to a 4 team battle between Caravel Academy, Hodgson, Archmere, and Indian River. Indian River and Caravel will face off in a quad meet to be held at Caravel on January 30th, and the Bucs still have a formidable foe left as they finish their dual meet season with AI DuPont.
Hodgson is currently 4-1, losing only to Smyrna, and still have to face rival William Penn and St. Mark's. Archmere is sitting at 8-2, having already lost to their toughest opponents in Caravel and Polytech. Indian River is 8-1, losing to Columbia MD in the Snacktown Duals and will face Caravel in a quad meet on the 30th.
The State Dual Championships will be held on February 16th at Delaware State, and then we can look forward to the Individual Championships on the 26th and 27th.
