2. Sam Burrows - Concord OL/DL 6'3" 295 Sr. The state's reigning lineman of the year has D-I college potential, but torn ACL will keep him out until at least November, if not for season
3. Phil Hudson – Newark OT/DT 6'2" 230 Sr. Honorable mention All-Conference OG is driving force in Jackets rushing game.
4. Joe Tabler – Cape Henlopen OL/DL 6'5" 300 Sr. 3rd team All-State OT is top college prospect with 3.8 GPA.
5. Devon Still – Howard OL/DL 6'5" 240 Jr. Rising star possesses rare mix of size, athleticism.
6. Scott von Duyke - Tatnall OG/DE 6'3" 205 Sr. Two-way starter last two seasons was voted 1st team All-Conference DE and honorable mention OG in 2004, the "Duke of Greenville" had 57 tackles, 17 for loss and 8 sacks—will vie for All-State honors in 2005 and has committed to play for U of D.
7. Eli Stapleford - Milford DE 6'1" 205 Sr. 1st team All-Conference DE had 62 tackles, including 6 for loss, 10 sacks and batted down 4 passes, will vie for All-State honors this season.
8. Carl Batson – Dover G/DE 6'3" 250 Sr. 2nd team All-Conference OT is extremely quick off the ball. Also has All-State potential and colleges are looking.
9. Anthony West – Laurel OG/DT 6'2" 300 Sr. First team All-Conference on D-line with 4 forced fumbles and 4 recoveries—Big boy runs a 4.9 in the forty, can squat 575 pounds and benches over 300.
10. John Yandell – Caravel OL/DL 6'2" 310 Sr. The best lineman that nobody talked about last year is an imposing presence, had 3 sacks, 4 forced fumbles.
11. JJ Paramore – McKean OL/DL 6'2" 260 Jr. Honorable mention All-Conference OL , had 10 tackles, 1 sack—outstanding showing at several preseason camps and he's still just a junior.
12. Chris Sears – Dover OT/DT 6'6" 310 Sr. Returning starter is a big man with quick feet, has All-State potential and is drawing college interest.
13. Matt Tomczak – Delcastle OL/DT 6'2" 226 Sr. Top lineman has drawn 1-AA college interest.
14. Ryan Barletto – Concord OT/DT 5'11" 250 Sr. 2nd team All-State center will be first team in 2005.
15. Chris Ciaffi – Salesianum OG/DT 6' 233 Sr. 1st team All-Catholic on DL is one of state's top run stoppers.
16. Jack Simon – Milford C/LB 5'11" 175 Sr. 3rd team All-State center returns for third year as starter on offense and notched 58 tackles and had 3 fumble recoveries on defense last season. Plays bigger than his size.
17. Rodney Simmons – Laurel OT/ DT 6'5" 250 Sr. 1st team All-Conference OT—Started last two seasons and has shown All-State potential.
18. Josh Clymer – Hodgson OT/DT 6'2" 260 Sr. All-Conference OT/DT—1st year as a 2-way starter for the Silver Eagles, big, strong and can move, recorded 57 tackles (39 solo) and 2 Sacks.
19. TJ Burgos – St. Mark's OT/DE 5'9" 220 Jr. 2nd team All-Catholic on O-line as sophomore, also a force on defense.
20. Ricky Hess – Caravel OG/DE 5'10" 230 Sr. 3-year starter was team's best OL in 2004.
