WeR1 Hosts Battle of The Borders

BURLINGTON - Coming off a dominant performance run to become the 2014 Under Armour champions, Delaware's WeR1 will host the Battle of The Borders "Certified Live Period" event at the Life Center Academy (July 24-25).

There will be 15-17u teams competing, which each team will play a minimum of 3 games. The Battle of the Borders will feature some of top programs in the region such as WeR1, NY Lightning, The City and New Heights. "We are extremely excited about being able to bring such great programs together and give kids the opportunity to get recruited by college coaches," says event director Terrell Myers. There will be an estimate of over 100 college coaches expected to attend the event.

National ranked players such as Derrick Jones, who is the only top 15 player on the East playing this live period in the area, Sedee Keita, Rodney Miller, and Jordan Tucker, will highlight this event.

The venue is located in the suburbs of Burlington, New Jersey, which is conveniently located between two major airports and only 2 miles off of Interstate-95. The venue is in one central location with a 3-court facility.
